Pratham Technologies Secures 15 Machine Orders Worth Rs 5-Crore at PrintPack 2025
New Delhi, [4th Feb 2025] – Pratham Technologies has achieved a major milestone at PrintPack 2025 by securing 15 machine orders worth over Rs 5-crore, surpassing its initial sales targets. With a strong focus on automation and customer-driven solutions, the company is set to cross Rs 100-crore in revenue this year, driven by the growing demand for its latest paper folding machine, pharmaceutical insert folding machine, and pharma paper folding machine technologies.
Varad Deshpande, Director at Pratham Technologies, expressed excitement over the company’s strong performance at the event. “This year, we are going to cross Rs 100-crore. Our target was Rs 75-crore, but it looks like we’ll be able to surpass that,” he said. Deshpande attributed the success to strong customer relationships and an expanding product portfolio.
Highlighting Pratham’s proactive approach, Deshpande stated, “We have been able to reach out to our customers more this year and offer them unique solutions to solve their problems. We are not just a product company but a solution-oriented company.” He revealed that the company had closed orders for 15 machines, primarily small and medium-sized inserts catering to agricultural needs.
At PrintPack 2025, Pratham introduced an advanced automatic paper folding machine that is fully automatic and capable of handling various commercial and book folding jobs. “The new machine is designed to perform parallel and cross folds, making it ideal for creating pharmaceutical leaflets that accompany medicine bottles. Additionally, it caters to large-format folding needs for books and maps,” Deshpande explained.
Emphasizing the significance of this launch, he added, “We always had the technology, and we thought this is the right time to introduce it in India.” The automatic leaflet folding machine represents a significant step forward in automation, meeting the growing industry demand for efficiency and precision.
Sham Desai, Senior Leader for Domestic Sales at Pratham, highlighted the innovation showcased at PrintPack 2025, particularly the automatic book folding machine and carton feeder with a leaflet. “We are receiving a positive response from customers. Many clients are engaging with this new product and innovation,” he said. He further emphasized that consistently unveiling new products is a key strategy for success, reaffirming Pratham’s commitment to evolving market needs.
As the event drew to a close, Deshpande mentioned plans for further discussions with potential customers to help them achieve their financial targets in the coming year, signaling a promising outlook for the company’s future.
